This mural is in the hallway leading to the children’s rooms at City Church Sacramento. I created this design based on input from the kids who attend the church. Each of the animals is based on the children’s favorites, and the words in the clouds are how they described their church community: kind, strong, bright, warm, loving, diverse, and faithful.

I chose a landscape as the setting of the scene to bring depth to the hallway, which is quite narrow.
