Jolene Rose Russell is an artist specializing in large-scale artwork for corporate, retail, and residential spaces.
Born and raised in beautiful Northern California, I've loved making art for as long as I can remember. I began my venture into large-scale art when I was introduced to street painting in high school, where artists use chalk to make huge works of art on the pavement.
In 2008, I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BFA in Fine Art with an emphasis in painting and drawing. I enjoy using acrylic and oil paints, chalk pastel, charcoal, graphite, and ink. In 2013, the East Bay Express voted me "Best Artist" in their Best of the East Bay issue. Today, I am living in Sacramento, doing work that I love by creating eye-catching, hand-drawn and hand-painted murals in Sacramento and the Greater Bay Area.
